The China
Panda Gold Coin Series proved to be extremely popular and large
quantities were placed into jewelry. To fill the need for smaller
coins to put in coin rings, earrings, etc, the China Mint introduced
the 1/20 ounce Panda Gold Coin in 1983. As the mintage numbers suggest, these are
also quite scarce coins. Many were made into jewelry and mint
condition Pandas from this second year of issue are difficult
to find.
At this time we
do have a limited number of 1983 pandas in stock, but please
do not order more than one of each size without checking with
us first.
