The United States Commemorative Statehood
Quarter Program began in 1999 and runs through 2008. Five different
quarters will be produced each year for 10 years to honor all
50 states. The quarters are produced and issued in the order
that the various states became part of the United States. The
statehood quarters have a common obverse design and a reverse
design chosen by the individual states. The United States Mint
has final say over the reverse design and often modifies the
one selected by the state.
The Statehood quarters are produced for circulation
at the Philadelphia (P) and Denver (D) Mints . Proof only coins
are produced at the San Francisco (S) mint in both a copper-nickel
clad and 90% silver composition.
Below are charts listing the prices for original,
brilliant uncirculated rolls of Statehood quarters from our inventory.
These rolls are mostly paper or shrink-wrapped bank rolls although
some dates may only be available in coin-tubes. All rolls are
guaranteed to be original uncirculated rolls, not put together
rolls.
River City Coins also offers Uncirculated 5-coin
statehood quarter sets from both mints packaged in a custom Whitman
plastic case as well as the mint issued 5-coin Statehood Quarter
Proof Sets (see below).
*The number in parentheses
by each listing indicates the number of rolls of that state and
mint that River City Coins currently has in stock, so please
be conscious of this and do not order more than this number.
