The White House Historical Association
authorized this series of 40 medals to honor each of our First
Ladies.
Royalties accruing to the Association
from the sale of this series were used to help acquire works
of art and historic objects for the White House.
A 41st medal, honoring Mrs. Ford
was issued in 1974. The complete set of 40 medals contains 41
troy ounces.
Shipping & handling charges
