These Engelhard ingots are as minted and
have not been cleaned or mishandled. This is the first one of
these scarce sets that I have ever seen or handled. I acquired
it from the original owner and it has been in my collection for
years. Englehard is one of the most successful refiners in the
world. It was established in 1902 by Charles W. Engelhard, Sr
in Newark, New Jeresy.
The plastic case has seen
better days as the surfaces are hazy and there is a small break
in the plastic lid on the bottom left.
