Franklin Mint Bank Ingot Collection

Each year for 5 consecutive years from 1970 to 1974, The Franklin Mint issued a set of (50) 1000 grain bank ingots featuring one bank from each state. Each ingot featured a design of the issuing bank on the obverse and certification of silver content on the reverse. There were 250 ingots minted for this collection. The ingots were issued in proof condition. River City Coins has the ingots listed in the table below for sale at this time. All show minor handling marks from improper handling.

There are 480 grains in a troy ounce, so 1000 grain sterling ingots contain 1.92 troy ounces of pure silver.

First Issue of 1970

Offered here is a complete 50 piece set of the 1970 issue of Franklin Mint's Bankmarked Sterling Silver Ingots. Each 1000 grain sterling silver ingot is in gem mint condition. This set comes in the case of issue with the COA. This set contains over 96 ounces of pure silver.
