1991 Korean War Commemorative Silver Dollar

 This 90% silver dollar was minted to commemorate the 38th anniversary of the end of the Korean War and to honor the men who served there. The obverse was designed by Mint sculptor-engraver John Mercanti and features an Army infantryman in full gear. The reverse was designed by Mint sculptor-engraver James Ferrell and shows the outline of Korea with North and South divided at the 38th parallel.

This commem was issued with both Proof (618,488) and Uncirculated (213,049) finishes.
