 The Albany commemorative half dollar was minted to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the granting of a charter to the city of Albany, NY. The reverse design shows Governor Dongan, Peter Schuyler and Robert Livingston. The obverse depicts a beaver gnawing on a maple branch. The coin was designed by Gertrude K. Lathrop of Albany.

This Albany commemorative half dollar is lightly toned with a good strike and decent lustre. The case shows scratches from improper handling.
