This commemorative
silver half dollar was minted in 1937 and celebrates the life
of Daniel Boone, one of America's great pioneers. This coin was
modeled by Augustus Lukeman. The obverse features the head of
Daniel Boone. The reverse depicts Boone with Blackfish, war chief
of the Chillicothe band of the Shawnee tribe.
This is a choice uncirculated
example graded MS-63 by NGC.
