The 1955 Lincoln Doubled Die cent is probably the best example of a doubled die coin ever minted. This example is certified genuine by the Professional Coin Grading Service. They did not assign a grade to this coin as they were of the opinion that it had been cleaned at one time and retoned. The coin exhibits hardly any wear and has what we would consider as AU details. In any event, this coin would fit nicely in any high-grade set of Lincoln cets.
