This lovely 1900-O / CC Carson City Silver Dollar
has a great strike, decent lustre and hardly any contact marks.
This is the only date known in the Carson City Dollar series
with an over mintmark. The dies that made this were sent to Philadelphia
where the mint punched an O mintmark over the CC mintmark. Remnants
of the CC mintmark are clearly visible under the O mintmark.
This coin has been certified as MS-64 by PCGS, a leading grading
