This collection of 24 one ounce pure silver
ingots was minted with a Proof finish by the Hamilton Mint in
1975. This set features some of the most well known characters,
both real and fictional, from America's past. These include Davy
Crockett, Paul Bunyon, Doc Holliday, Billy the Kid, Casey Jones
and Butch Cassidy. (See close ups and complete list of characters
below)
This set comes in the original case of issue. Each
ingot is housed in a hard plastic shell that fits snugly in the
case. The name of the characters featured on each bar is printed
on the case and on the reverse of each ingot.
Many of these ingots have a nice natural toning
which I find very appealing.
We only have 13 of the 26 descriptive information
sheets that were issued with this set.
We will not break up the
set. You are buying the bars pictured in the case of issue.
This is the only set we have
(or have even seen).
