The Franklin Mint issued a set of 12 monthly medals for each year 1973 to 1977.

Each medal in the collection features an event considered to be of particular historical impact in the month in which it was issued.

Each news event portrayed was selected by a distinguished panel of historians and journalists and was expected to have long range significance.

The sets offered here are as issued with the album and paperwork. The medals are pure Sterling Silver proofs measuring 45mm. in diameter.

The complete sets of 12 medals contains 15 troy ounces.
