The Silver Dollar proof coin was designed by John
Mercanti of the U.S. Mint and the eleven sterling silver medals
were designed by Frank Gasparro, former Chief Engraver of the
U.S. Mint.
The Proof U.S. Silver Dollar is .900 Fine Silver.
The 11 Sterling Silver Medals are 38.1mm and weigh approximately
28.35 grams each. The complete set contains 10 ounces of pure
silver.
