The Silver Coins of Panama

20 Balboas

These Panama 20 Balboa coins are minted in .925 sterling silver, weigh 129.6 grams, are 61mm in diameter and contain a total of 3.85 troy ounces of pure silver. The coins were struck in the United States by the Franklin Mint in both Uncirculated and Proof finishes. All of our 20 Balboas coins are in mint / proof condition in hard plastic capsules and most come with the original box of issue and COA.

1971 Proof Issue

This issue commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Independence of Central America. The obverse features Simon Bolivar while the reverse features the National Arms of Panama.
