These First Spouse gold coins are struck in .9999 fine gold, weigh one half ounce and have a $10 face value. They were minted in conjunction with the Mint's Presidential dollar program. The obverse features a portrait of the First Lady and the reverse features a design symbolic of the spouse's life and work. In those instances where a President was unmarried, the obverse features an obverse image emblematic of Liberty as depicted on a circulating coin of that era and a reverse image emblematic of themes of that President's life.

All of our First Spouse gold coins come with the original US Mint packaging.
