This was
the first year of issue for the China Gold Panda coins. As the
mintage numbers suggest, these are very scarce.
The adorable Panda
Coin design proved to be extremely popular with both collectors
and those individuals who wanted Panda Coin jewelry.
Large quantities
of this first year of issue were put into coin jewelry and few
examples are left in original mint condition.

Gold Panda coins are in mint condition in their original packaging
